Chancy Chen

An Associate Director in SSQ’s Shanghai office, Chancy Chen specialises in China’s in-house legal market consulting and talent search.

Chancy brings over 12 years’ of recruitment experience to SSQ, having worked with a number of multinational and Chinese companies to strengthen their in-house legal and compliance functions. Chancy focuses on developing and deepening client relationships, while building deep knowledge in the dynamic China and Asia legal markets.

Chancy has a successful track record in a number of industry sectors, including industrial, technology, healthcare & life sciences, consumer & retail, private equity and professional services. She advises companies on their growth and strategy, working closely with them to build exceptional legal teams.

Before joining SSQ, Chancy worked in a top-tier international executive search firm and a UK based global recruitment firm. She is well recognised for her professionalism, expertise, and quality of her work. Before moving into recruitment, she worked as a global management trainee in the consumer industry.

Chancy holds a bachelor’s degree from Zhejiang University.
